Answers to common questions. If you have a question not answered here, please reach out to us any time💗

When do we need to RSVP?

Please RSVP by Sunday, March 31, 2024, as this will help us plan everything. You should have received an email from Larissa or Kerry containing the RSVP link.

When should we arrive and depart?

Any amount of time you can come for would be awesome, but we make some recommendations on the Hotel & Travel page.

Where should we stay?
We recommend staying at the Excalibur Hotel, but you can stay where you like. Everything you need to know about this can be found on the Hotel & Travel page.

How do I get to the wedding?

We have booked a coach to take guests staying at the Excalibur hotel* from there to The Stirling Club in time for the wedding, and returning people to Excalibur at the end of the day.
Pickup Time: 1:45 PM
Pickup Location: Rotunda entrance of Excalibur.
Contact: Patricia D'Angelico is kindy taking care of the coach, so if you can't find it or are running a little bit late you can contact her (incl. on Whatsapp) on +1 (952) 484-7054.

*If you're not staying at the Excalibur hotel, please make your own way to the Stirling Club before the wedding, but you are welcome to take the coach back to the Excalibur hotel in the evening for the after party.

When should we book flights to get the best deal?

We don't know a lot about this and expect it will vary depending on where you are coming from. This article has some tips on how to find out about trends in flight prices using websites like Kayak and apps like Hopper.

Will the wedding (and weekend activities) be suitable for little ones?

We're excited to celebrate with the young and the young at heart. If you want to bring your children, we'd be delighted to have them, and if coming without them works better for you, that's fine too.

Anything we should know when bringing babies or small children?

The venue has high chairs, baby changing stations, and private areas like changing rooms where nursing or pumping is welcome. The hotel can provide cribs on request free of charge. The wedding venue asks that children under 3 wear swim diapers. One challenge may be that Uber/Taxis are the main form of transport around Las Vegas, which is trickier with a baby seat.

Is the venue wheelchair or pram accessible?

The ceremony room and outdoor bar are both accessible, but there are a few steps down from the bar to the pool area where the reception is being held, so please just let someone in the wedding party know if you need help!

Did you say pool party wedding?
Yes! We'll be making the most of the Vegas sunshine and holding our wedding reception outdoors by the beautiful Stirling Club pool, so bring your dancing shoes and bathing suits!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, whether that's enjoying getting dressed up in your best for a wedding or relaxing in something more casual.

No, really, please just tell me what to wear!

We really are happy for people to wear what they want, but for those who would prefer some guidance on what everyone else is likely to do, here's our best guess 😊

We expect the ceremony to be more traditional. It's indoors and air-conditioned, and the wedding party will be wearing pretty standard, formal wedding attire. Still, Vegas will be hot, and we'll go outside after the ceremony. So something like nicer summer dresses or light-colored shirts and dress pants, nicer shorts, or smart jeans might be a good compromise.

The reception will have a much more casual pool-party vibe and we expect a lot of people to just change into swimwear or something more suited to lounging by the pool after photos.

But again, you prefer to just wear something casual to the ceremony and reception, that's totally fine!

The decor for the wedding has a very slight country and western theme with a neon Vegas twist, but mostly it's a pool party! The color scheme (to the degree that there is one!) is turquoise, white, and brown, with a splash of neon pink. But don't feel any need to match the theme unless you really want to.

What do I need to bring to the wedding?

We recommend bringing bathing suits, sunscreen, sunglasses/hat, and anything else you might need for enjoying time by the pool in hot weather. Children under three will need swim diapers. The Stirling Club provides towels, so no need to bring one.

Are there showers at the Stirling Club?

Yes, the Stirling Club has a men's and a women's changing room and spa area, each with showers, bathrooms, a hot tub, and a sauna. However, there are only four showers per changing room, so if you're not coming straight to the optional after-party, we recommend waiting until you get back to your hotel. Guests who want to shower before following us straight out for the after-party might want to do so a bit before the end of the wedding at 9 PM.

Will there be lifeguards on duty at the Stirling Club pool?

Yes, there will be at least two lifeguards on duty.

What's the timeline for the wedding day?

You can find that on the wedding page

Will there be an open bar?

Yes!

Do you have a gift registry?

We really don't expect a gift. Your traveling to Vegas to celebrate our marriage is the best gift you could give us. We're also extremely fortunate to have everything we need for our life together. So please don't worry about gifts, just come and have fun with us.
