Room Types: We have held both King and Two Queen rooms. We suggest leaving Queen rooms for families and groups.

Our Excalibur hotel contact advised us that groups of more than two in one Queen room should book as if there are only two and not tell the hotel that there are more people when you check in 🤫. This is because they don't like to charge extra occupancy fees for large groups. This does strike us as weird, but hey, they told us to 🤷‍♀️. 

​

Transport to the Wedding

We have booked a coach to take guests staying at the Excalibur hotel* from there to The Stirling Club in time for the wedding, and returning people to Excalibur at the end of the day.

Pickup Time: 1:45 PM

Pickup Location: Rotunda entrance of Excalibur.

*If you're not staying at the Excalibur hotel, please make your own way to the Stirling Club before the wedding, but you are welcome to take the coach back to the Excalibur hotel in the evening for the after party.

Recommended Travel Dates

We would be thrilled with whatever time you can spend with us in Vegas, whether that's just the wedding or enjoying a longer vacation in Vegas. If you can spend longer with us, below are some suggestions on when to arrive and depart, given what we have planned. If you can be flexible when you travel, it's worth looking at different weekdays to fly. Sometimes, weekdays can be much cheaper, making it more affordable to stay longer, even including hotel costs.

Arrival: If you're attending our bachelor(ette) party on Friday, May 24, 2024, we recommend arriving on or before Thursday, May 23, 2024. Otherwise, arriving on or before Saturday, May 26, 2024, is great.

Departure: We're planning some relaxed post-wedding hanging out on Monday, May 27, 2024. If you'd like to join us for that, we recommend leaving on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Nearest Airport

Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is the best airport to fly to. It's just a 10-minute Uber or Taxi from there to the hotel.

Getting Around Las Vegas

Ubers are everywhere, and all the major hotels have busy taxi ranks, so it is easy to get around. You can walk between many of the hotels on the strip and downtown; just remember it will likely be hot (90°F/32°C or more), so you might not want to!

Weather

The average high in late May is around 90°F (32°C), but it can get over 100°F (40°C). The average low is around 66°F (19°C).

​

Visas

If you don't live in the US, you may need a visa to visit the US, depending on where you are traveling from and your personal circumstances. We expect most of our guests from outside of the US to be eligible to travel on an ESTA (a visa waiver program). It takes about 20 minutes to apply for and 72 hours to receive, so it's easy to get, but you must make sure you have it before you travel.
